Chapter 1181 — By One Battle Alone

The Herdsman of the Wasteland Page 2 of 2

At the same time, a crackling sound arose, and one after another the petrified Creator statues throughout the vein shed their stone shells and recovered their bodies of flesh and blood; on the cliff walls at either side, yin and yang energies writhed and soared like dragons, boring into the bodies of these Creators. They strode toward Shen Mu.

Thud, thud, thud.

Axe-pick after axe-pick struck the ground, their cold light flashing, and several dozen giants spread out to both sides in a formation like wild geese in flight.

Shen Mu gripped the hilt of his blade tightly, his wounds healing at flying speed, and laughed aloud.

"What is the long blade pointed at?

Only at battle!

Come on—" Some of the Creators soared into the air, some trod upon the cliff walls on either side, some charged in across the ground; the flowing light traced by the axe-picks in their hands was like the yin-yang line within a Taiji diagram, their trajectories profoundly mysterious, as they struck from every direction! Boom!

A pillar of light shot up from within the Taiji ore vein and became black radiance; another pillar of light soared into the sky and became white radiance.

In midair, the two pillars revolved and clashed against the zenith; seen from afar, they were like the yin-yang Taiji fish circling each other!

At the foot of the mountain, Dragon Qilin and Yan'er stared blankly at the sight, unable to tell what was happening within the mining grounds.

The light slowly dispersed.

One after another, the Creators of towering stature stood gripping their axe-picks in a great circle, and in the middle lay a pool of mangled flesh. Shen Mu had been beaten alive into a pulp of meat.

Expressionless, these Creators lifted their axe-picks and prepared to leave; the matter within the mining grounds was transforming at flying speed, and the Creators were retreating at flying speed, the axe-picks in their hands also retreating along the trajectories of their divine arts!

Some soared backward through the air, some trod the cliff walls on either side as they ran backward, some retreated across the ground. "Only battle! Come on—" Shen Mu roared.
