Chapter 1327 — The Great Abyss Begets Primordial Qi

The four deities' faces twitched violently as they stared at Shen Mu, who had appeared so abruptly; bewilderment flickered in all their eyes.

Mother Earth could suddenly contain her rage no longer. She brought her palm down, and the geomagnetic primordial force erupted; that single palm strike could have ground stars to dust!

"Don't!" Lord Heaven and Lord Earth cried out together.

But it was already too late.

Mother Earth's palm fell upon Shen Mu, yet it passed clean through him. Shen Mu was walking along the back of her hand. Mother Earth stared blankly at her own hand, at a loss.

"Lord Mu, playing your tricks again!"

The Ancestor God King too flew into a sudden rage—and more than that, it was the shameful fury of one who had been humiliated. One after another, the heavenly dao treasures in the sky unleashed their power, all of them crashing toward Shen Mu at once!

Shen Mu had "arrogantly" strolled through his Mystic Capital World, looking down on all, holding nothing in his eyes—and that was truly more than he could bear!

In the very instant he made his move, Lord Heaven broke into a smile and cried out in delight, "The rebellious wretch has shown his flaw!"

Molten Earth Lord and Mother Earth, who had been beaten into helplessness by the Ancestor God King, were overjoyed at these words—but Lord Heaven's next sentence chilled their hearts: "We flee! Follow me—"

Lord Heaven abruptly exerted his power; starlight gathered in his eyes, and with a sharp crack he shot through the Mystic Capital World, splitting open a great hole. The three fled in panic.

Suddenly the Mystic Capital World trembled, and from the heavenly palace behind the Ancestor God King, one incarnation of the heavenly dao after another rose to its full height and moved to intercept the three.

Lord Heaven, Lord Earth, and Mother Earth fought with all their strength. Meanwhile, the Ancestor God King's heavenly dao treasures struck Shen Mu one after another, splitting the earth open, turning soil to magma, and vaporizing the magma!

And Shen Mu walked upon the magma as though he felt nothing at all.

Beside himself with rage, the Ancestor God King suddenly abandoned Shen Mu and turned his killing intent upon Lord Heaven, Lord Earth, and Mother Earth, who had just broken out of the encirclement and escaped the Mystic Capital World. He sneered, "If I cannot do anything about Lord Mu, can I not do anything about you?"

He abruptly withdrew his heavenly dao incarnations, and his strength soared; he beat Lord Heaven, Lord Earth, and Mother Earth until they spat blood again and again.

At this moment, Shen Mu unhurriedly walked out of the impregnable Mystic Capital World and, before their very eyes, strode off without a backward glance.

Lord Heaven and Lord Earth, guarding Mother Earth as they fled, caught a distant glimpse of Shen Mu and each started slightly: "The Shen boy seems to have taken the wrong path... Yes, he was still affected by our divine abilities after all, and strayed from the road without realizing it!"

But they had no time to spare for Shen Mu; they fought the Ancestor God King with all their might, yet could do nothing but take a beating.

"Mother Earth must not die!"

Lord Heaven shouted, "Borrow power from the true body!"

Above his head, vast starlight gathered into a river, pouring down from the heavens like a galaxy and surging into his body.

At the same time, Lord Earth also borrowed power from his true body; the Way of the Dark Capital gathered and merged with demonic qi, pouring into him in a single rush.

Their strength soared, yet they still could not match the Ancestor God King and were driven back step by step.

The four of them fought furiously on the plateau of the Ancestral Court, flattening the plateau into a plain and the plain into a basin. Shen Mu walked to and fro within the basin, circling round and round.

Lord Heaven and Lord Earth secretly fretted for his safety, yet strangely, Shen Mu was not touched in the least by their divine abilities and remained wholly unharmed.

"He is comprehending a most wondrous great Dao; this state of entering the Dao lets him evade the power of our divine abilities!"

Lord Earth understood at once and sent a voice transmission to Lord Heaven: "The moment he wakes from the state of entering the Dao is the moment he is freed from this untouchable condition. Then, even if he does not die, he will be gravely wounded!"

Lord Heaven understood at once. Shen Mu's state of entering the Dao seemed to be a union with the great Dao, a realm of extraordinary height—but when he emerged from that state, he would no longer be invincible.

That would be Shen Mu's most perilous moment!

"I will blast a road through this basin and let him leave from here!"

Lord Heaven waved his hand, and the great mountains around the basin split open, revealing a vast canyon. Shen Mu came to the passage without pausing and walked straight out along it.

Lord Heaven and Lord Earth breathed a secret sigh of relief—then suddenly saw Mother Earth bring her hands together, and the great canyon closed at once, trapping Shen Mu in the middle.

Lord Heaven and Lord Earth were furious: "Mother Earth has no sense of decency! She has wanted the Shen boy dead all along—all our pains to save her were wasted!"

The next moment, they saw Shen Mu pass straight through the mountain and walk on, safe and sound—only this time, his destination was utterly confused.

He drew farther and farther from the battlefield of Lord Heaven, Lord Earth, Mother Earth, and the Ancestor God King, and gradually came to the great desert east of the Ancestral Court. Sand flew in the desert, black sand dancing through the sky, and fierce winds howled, blowing all things to ash.

Last time, Shen Mu had only been able to cross this desert safely because the Lapis Lazuli Azure Heaven Banner protected him.

But this time, he plunged straight in, and the black sand of the desert seemed to touch nothing at all, passing right through his body.

Shen Mu walked safely all the way to the center of the desert and came before the Taiji Vein.

The ancient god within the Taiji Vein was startled and watched in secret: "How did this fellow come here? Could he know that I tricked him into going to the Great Black Wood to die, and has come for revenge? Or does he know of my secret plot with the Great Origin and has come to do away with me?"

But what puzzled him was that Shen Mu passed straight through the vein and wandered aimlessly into the white sand desert.

The ancient god in the Taiji Vein was dumbstruck: "This fellow, walking from pure yin qi into pure yang qi, crossing the yin-yang star domain—he has lost his mind..."

The Taiji Vein seemed to lie within the black-and-white desert, but in truth, seen from afar, it was a resplendent star domain of black and white, like a Taiji diagram!

Thus did Shen Mu cross this incomparably perilous yin-yang star domain, making the ancient god in the vein cry out that it was uncanny.

He walked out of the Taiji Vein, and now his comprehension of the Way of the Great Beginning grew greater still, surging in thick and fast, pouring all at once into his mind!

Shen Mu could not help but let out a long whistle. The whistle rose like a single thread, straight up into the clouds, shaking the seals of the ancient gods into appearance in the sky and revealing the reverse side of world after world!

His primordial fetus divine treasury surged forth with a roar, revolving around him. One hand upholding heaven and one hand covering earth, he executed the Four-Faced God transformation and the Four Venerable Seals of Heaven and Earth.

Then his techniques and divine abilities shifted. The second heaven of divine ability unfolded, transforming into the Mystic Gate of Heaven and Earth—a towering mystic gate linking heaven and earth, the Dark Capital and the Mystic Capital.
