Shen Mu gave a shout, and beneath that vast altar another, even more colossal altar rose up.

Standing upon the first, the crowd looked down and saw that the second altar was two or three times the size of the first. Then suddenly a third altar emerged from below, and it too was far larger than the second. One after another Shen Mu visualized nine altars, and stacked together the nine altars towered like a mountain.

"The reason I called you here is that on the far side of the Ancestral Court there are countless giant beasts of matchless strength, and beyond them Long Xiao—a being who can lock arms with a Heavenly Venerable.

" Shen Mu drove the ninefold altar, and the art of summoning burst forth.

He said in a grave voice, "I fear Long Xiao may seize this chance to drag me to the far side of the Ancestral Court. Everyone, link your divine consciousness as one with mine—I will carry your divine consciousness across to the far side of the Ancestral Court!
