Langwan the God King had by now resumed her true form as a Creator, immensely towering, and was gazing up at the sky. The Ancestral Spirit Realm had risen very high, and the diamond-shaped eye in the heavens was growing ever larger, until the scene within it could gradually be made out.
Within the Ancestral Spirit Realm, waves of light that seemed to be formed of countless brains flowed on without cease, an exceedingly strange sight.
At last a rumbling tremor came from the heavens; the Ancestral Spirit Realm halted, and the giant diamond-shaped eye expanded no further.
"It is done."
Langwan the God King looked toward Shen Mu. "Now you may enter the Ancestral Spirit Realm. But Shujun cannot go in; he is no Holy Infant and has no right to. Shujun the God King, are you not coming out?"
The vertical eye at Shen Mu's brow opened, and Shujun's great head, its hair a wild tangle, flew furiously out from between Shen Mu's brows. "A man who is no Creator may enter the Ancestral Spirit Realm, yet a God King who is a Creator may not. What sort of logic is that?" he raged.
Shen Mu consoled him: "Rest easy, God King. If I obtain the inheritance of the Creator race, I will pass it on to you as well."
Langwan the God King shook her head. "He has no such right. A God King from before history is long since no God King at all, and moreover the defeat of the Creator race has everything to do with him... Let us go!"
She took Shen Mu up in her hand and flew higher and higher, toward the Ancestral Spirit Realm.
In the sky, the huge diamond-shaped eye suddenly rolled with a jerk, as if gazing at them; then a beam of light shone down, and Shen Mu and Langwan the God King vanished at once from the Other Shore World!
