Shen Mu's face reddened slightly. He said, "When I saw the treasure, I could not help but be moved. Does Brother Dao intend to ask for it back?"

The scholar Taiyi shook his head. "It is of no use to me anymore."

Shen Mu breathed a sigh of relief. He had not intended to return it to Taiyi in the first place.

The scholar Taiyi said, "Mu Heavenly Venerate, we have actually met before."

Shen Mu was greatly astonished. "May I ask where we met?"

"A million years ago, I transformed into a great kun and carried the Mu Heavenly Venerate, Shen Heavenly Venerate, and others roaming the Dragon Han Heaven Court."

The scholar Taiyi opened his folding fan and smiled. "Six hundred thousand years ago, when the Heaven Court split, the Great Sun Star Lord released the Howling Celestial Hound to search for the Palace Heavenly Venerate. I was one of those Howling Celestial Hounds, and I ran past you. When the Heavenly River fell, I was a mortal fleeing in panic beneath the Mu Heavenly Venerate's feet."
