"This concubine pays her respects to Celestial Venerable Mu. " Shen Mu's gaze was complicated. Qi Xiayu had sent only a clone to pay respects; her main body was still attacking the Vermilion Bird Celestial Palace, showing not the slightest intention of holding back.
"Red Emperor, Heaven has a virtue for sparing life. Where one can forgive, one should forgive.
Why must you hunt them all down and kill them all?
" Shen Mu said mildly.
Qi Xiayu gave him a deep look.
Suddenly her main body shook and transformed into eight phoenixes, spreading matchless wings to fly over the Vermilion Bird Celestial Palace. Flames blazed fiercely, melting that most ancient of celestial palaces. Who knew how many deities were buried beneath the phoenixes' sacred fire! The eight phoenixes gathered together and merged one after another into an eight-headed radiant phoenix.
It turned and flew toward the Celestial Dragon Palanquin, and with a swoosh merged into the Qi Xiayu before Shen Mu. Behind Qi Xiayu, nine phoenixes beat their wings, fire filling the sky! The nine-phoenix primordial spirit folded its wings and slowly vanished.
Yan'er glared at her furiously, gnashing her teeth. "When you were little, it was I who fed you!
And you treat me like this! " Qi Xiayu boarded the palanquin, stood before the carriage, and bowed. "Celestial Venerable, why did the Southern Emperor send the princess away the moment she was born? Can the Celestial Venerable not figure it out?
There is no longer anyone of hers in this Vermilion Bird Celestial Palace. I am merely taking the opportunity to do her a favor. " Shen Mu asked, "Then where is the Southern Emperor? " "In the forbidden zone.
" Qi Xiayu raised a hand toward the distance.
"If the Celestial Venerable goes in time, perhaps you may still see her one last time. "
