His Way of Heavenly Yin was no match for the Lady of Heavenly Yin's, or Shen Mu's, or others'; his Way of Creation was no match for the two Chiming Emperors', nor for Shen Mu's, to say nothing of a being like the Heavenly Venerable Ling, who had created the Unchanging Divine Art. But he had combined these three great Ways and created the Great Way of Reincarnation — such talent was no small matter!
Before, Shen Mu and Di Yiyue had seen only the surface of the Way of Reincarnation in the Nether Capital Heavenly Gate; now, from the changes in the Youdu of the Great Void, Shen Mu saw the very essence of that Way.
Now he was trying to deduce the true Way of Reincarnation, to learn the Yin Son of Heaven's true art. He tried to fuse the Ways of the Youdu, of Heavenly Yin, and of Creation, to evolve the Way of Reincarnation, and only then did he feel how obscure and arduous it was; to deduce the Way of Reincarnation was incomparably hard, and even possessing the Sutra of Immeasurable Kalpas of the Great Brahma Heavenly King Buddha, he met difficulty upon difficulty.

" He could not help praising him: "In each thing he is inferior to others, yet he can open a path of his own; a remarkable figure indeed, and no wonder his ambition burns so vast. Still, that he should meet a bottleneck is only natural — had he truly been able to fuse the great Ways of three systems, becoming the Heavenly Venerable of Yin would have been easy. A pity his talent is not enough!
