Chapter 1304 — Unearthing the Primordial

The Herdsman of the Wasteland Page 2 of 2

Yan'er raised her lantern, and its light shone out and smoothed the riven space flat; a lock of hair hanging before the First Ancestor's brow was in that instant sliced into several hundred strands that drifted apart.

A bead of sweat rolled down his forehead, slipping from the bridge of his nose to its tip. A hair's breadth more, and the power of this divine bow would have cut him into several hundred pieces! Shen Mu stepped up and gripped the divine bow together with him; the two put forth their strength, about to lift the bow, but the next moment their bodies convulsed violently!

A vast thought surged from the bow into their minds: "Did you ask me before laying hands on my treasure?

" As the thoughts collided, the two understood what it meant to convey, and their hearts filled with dread: "The master of the divine bow — is he still alive?

" The vast thought from within the bow pinned the two of them where they stood, bodies rigid, utterly motionless, with only their eyeballs still able to move. Yan'er at once reached out to seize the divine bow, but she too was immediately fixed in place by that vast thought!

Just then Blind Elder came out from Shen Mu's Divine Treasury Domain and drew near, studying that great skeletal hand gripping the bow's body in fine detail, murmuring to himself.

Silent Craftsman stepped up, examined the withered hand closely, and, hearing Blind Elder's words, nodded again and again.

The Alchemist came forward, took out a spirit pill, crushed it and smeared it on the dry bone.

"That will do," he said.

Silent Craftsman opened his box and reached in; countless silver pellets floated up and became a great hammer.

Silent Craftsman swung the great hammer and brought it down, and with a mighty clang that skeletal hand shattered into pieces!

Shen Mu, Yan'er and the First Ancestor Human Sovereign felt as if a crushing weight had lifted, and the vast thought in their minds at once dispersed!
