Among the maps Wei Suifeng had drawn in star sand in the Star Canyon outside the Other Shore Ark, one was a geographical map of Guixu.
Twenty thousand years ago, he had come to Guixu to explore the secrets of the ancient past, hoping to achieve the Three Establishments and become a sage. Here he had encountered an inconceivable event: the Milky Way flowing once more.
The Milky Way had clearly been severed, yet when he arrived it appeared again. In the dry riverbed in the sky, the Milky Way came surging down from the heavens and poured into Guixu.
Strangely, mist came rushing from the Milky Way and swept Wei Suifeng into it.
Within the mist he met Ling Tianzun, and when he walked out of the mist, he had returned to the Longhan Era and become a member of that magnificent age, seated as commander of the Yulin Guard of the Longhan Heavenly Court, in charge of the most powerful army of gods and demons beneath the Heavenly Emperor. Shen Mu examined the geographical map closely. On the Ghost Ship, Wei Suifeng had kept a notebook, and in that notebook there was also a route map of Guixu.
It differed somewhat from the map in Shen Mu's hands, clearly drawn in a different period. Yet the general shape of Guixu had not changed.
"What our senior brother left behind is hidden in Guixu. " Shen Mu's expression turned strange.
He looked at the map, then at the Great Abyss of Guixu, and felt somewhat dizzy. The place marked on the map as the hiding place of Wei Suifeng's things was the Great Abyss! "Can one go into the Great Abyss? " He was rather doubtful.
The Great Abyss could swallow even the Milky Way, and it was exceedingly strange, seeming able to devour souls; one careless step and a man might well find no burial ground.
Dragon Qilin chose a great boulder and hurled it into the abyss. The stone fell, vanished into the darkness, and for a long time no sound of it striking bottom came back.
"Must one jump in?
" Shen Mu frowned.
Using the Heavenly Demon Art of Creation, he sealed his own soul and suppressed it within his body, so that the Great Abyss could not drag his soul out.
He was just about to leap into the abyss when suddenly a rain of meteors fell from the sky.
Great stones came crashing down from above; a shattered planet had at some unknown time drifted above the Great Abyss of Guixu and been caught by its gravity.
The fragments of the planet plunged madly into the abyss. Those mountain-sized fragments streaked through the air with trails of fire, faster and faster, and fell into the abyss one after another, vanishing without a trace.
And in the sky, the planet, though already broken, was still immense beyond measure. Now this planet too was caught by the abyss.
It shifted once in the air, could not escape the abyss's gravity, and was dragged toward it.
As it moved, the broken planet was crushed and split again and again; fire blazed across its surface, tens of thousands of volcanoes erupted, and soon the whole surface had become a sea of molten rock and flame! Then the planet was torn apart by a terrifying force, stretched thinner and longer like dough pulled by a cook of Jingping.
Under the terrified gazes of Shen Mu and the others, the planet was drawn into a single streak of fire and fell into the abyss! Deep within the abyss, the firelight flared bright for a moment, then gradually dimmed. Shen Mu wiped the cold sweat from his brow and said in a hoarse voice, "Fat Dragon, we can leave this place by way of the Milky Way's riverbed.

" Before he could finish, firelight began to rise again from deep within the abyss, brighter and brighter. Shen Mu was stunned. The light grew brighter and brighter still, and then suddenly a tremendous roar came, as though heaven had collapsed and earth had split apart.
The Great Abyss of Guixu erupted! "The dark currents of Guixu have burst forth?
