Chapter 1031 — The Void of the End

The Earth Lord's gaze swept over, and the Heaven-Bearing Gate collapsed and dissolved.

Veins stood out on Shen Mu's brow.

He roused his vital essence and opened another Heaven-Bearing Gate, and this gate too was destroyed in an instant. "It is useless.

" Shujun sighed, came to Shen Mu's side, and stood shoulder to shoulder with Divine King Langwan.

Shaking his head, he said: "The Creators and the ancient gods are natural enemies.

In those years the ancient gods strangled us, and the Earth Lord was one of their leaders.

He will not spare us. Holy Infant, you go.

Langwan, you go too. This old man will stay here; that will suffice!

" Shen Mu gave an angry snort and opened the Heaven-Bearing Gate once more.

The Earth Lord seemed somewhat enraged.

He turned his head away and looked at them no longer. Divine King Langwan and Shujun stared blankly, unable to fathom why the Earth Lord had not struck the killing blow.

Shen Mu breathed a sigh of relief and said in a low voice: "The Earth Lord has done me a favor and will pretend he never saw us.

Let us go, quickly!

"
