Bing Tang had no idea where Wei Zhao had gotten such confidence and certainty. From what she had observed of him, this fellow always kept a card or two up his sleeve when he did things — and not just one or two, but so many that they left a person dazzled. Could it be that this time, too, Wei Zhao had some hidden card to play?

At this thought, a faint unease suddenly stirred in Bing Tang's heart. If that were so, did Wei Zhao truly have it in him to surpass the Heaven Rank and step into the Way of Heaven? And could he really become a first-grade Mystic Rank alchemist?

"Yes, Senior Sister, what's happened to Wei Zhao darling?" Feng Xiaoxiao exclaimed in alarm as well.

"N-nothing... nothing's wrong... he's fine..." Bing Tang, face crimson, hemmed and hawed, not knowing how to put it. "..." Tang Yun had been fine before, but Feng Xiaoxiao's words turned her face as red as the evening clouds. She coughed awkwardly twice and said, "Xiaoxiao, what nonsense are you spouting? Let's get out of here, quick. Since Wei Zhao is fine, we shouldn't disturb his cultivation..."
