Chapter 147 — The Long-Awaited...

Years of Heartflutter Page 233 of 501

"I suppose that's all we can do. I'm truly sorry, Brother Huang." Yang Ce looked at the invitation in his hand and smiled bitterly. He had actually forgotten all about it. But there was simply no way around Huang Yan's side—not when Huang Yan was his girlfriend now.

After hanging up, Yang Ce put the invitation back in his pocket and went on packing with Yan.

That evening, after her shower, Huang Yan sat before the computer in her pajamas, concentrating hard as she played "Pocket Money Showdown" with the Little Fox Fairy, while Yang Ce lay on the bed, idly watching TV.

"Hey, Yang Ce, come take over for me for a bit. My hair's almost dry—I'm going to iron it," Huang Yan called back to him.

"Can't it wait until after you're done playing?" Yang Ce was feeling a little lazy. They had been out all afternoon; for his stamina it was nothing much, but everyone has their lazy streak.

"Oh, come on, I'm in a match with Little Fox Fairy. I can't just stop," Huang Yan wheedled. "When we get to bed later, I won't complain about the pain."

Yang Ce burst out laughing, sat up, and went over to the computer—but he said, "Don't blame me if I lose for you."

"Oh, whatever. I'm going. If I wait for my hair to dry it'll be a pain to style." With that, Huang Yan dashed off to the bathroom.

Yang Ce glanced at the chat log between the two on the screen. Little Fox Fairy was getting impatient and had sent several messages like "Lele, what are you doing? Hurry up and start."

Yang Ce clicked the "Start" button. He was barely familiar with the rules of this game, and by the time he had the basics down, it was game over.

"What's going on, Lele? Why aren't you playing properly?" Little Fox Fairy asked, puzzled. She and Huang Yan had only just started playing this game, so their skill levels were about even—how could Huang Yan have "died" so fast?

"The connection lagged for a second. I'm at a hotel, and the internet here isn't great. It's fine now," Yang Ce replied.

"Oh, so it's all right now? No wonder you took so long to start earlier," Little Fox Fairy said as understanding dawned.

"Yeah, it's fine. Someone was probably downloading something just now. It's okay now," Yang Ce made up.

This time Yang Ce had grasped the gameplay and rules of the game. It was much the same as Bubble Bobble—essentially it demanded very quick reflexes—so playing it was nothing to Yang Ce. Little Fox Fairy had barely gotten into her stride before the game ended.

"No way, Lele. Are you on stimulants? How are you this good?" Little Fox Fairy asked suspiciously.

"Want to go again?" Yang Shuoxuan didn't answer her directly but asked instead. Yang Ce wanted to discourage her so he could get back to watching TV.

"Of course I do. We agreed on best of five. Right now we've each won two, so this last round is crucial!" Little Fox Fairy said.

So Yang Ce pressed "Start" again, and once more Little Fox Fairy lost to him without any suspense.

"You're not Lele," Little Fox Fairy finally pieced together the key to the matter.

"Heh, she went to do her hair and asked me to play for a while," Yang Shuoxuan didn't deny it. It was just a game—there was no need to deny anything.

"How are you this good at every game? How long have you been playing this one?" Little Fox Fairy said in surprise.

"Today's the first time I've played it," Yang Ce answered honestly.

"No way. This good on your first time? I don't believe it." Little Fox Fairy sent a wide-eyed emoji.

"That last round wasn't a laggy connection, actually—I just wasn't familiar with the rules yet," Yang Ce sent a smiley emoji. Compared with playing games, Yang Ce would rather just chat idly; these little online games held little interest for him.

"That's brutal, handsome. Give me your QQ—I've got to ask you for your secrets when you have time," Little Fox Fairy said.

"My QQ? I don't log on very often," Yang Yanzhou said.

"No way. That stingy? Are you even a man?" Little Fox Fairy taunted.

"Heh, all right. My QQ number is 19132xxxx." Yang Xu reluctantly gave Little Fox Fairy his QQ number.

By then Huang Yan had finished her hair and came out of the bathroom. Yang Ce typed, "Lele's back. You two play."

"88, handsome." Little Fox Fairy sent a goodbye emoji.

"Did you win or lose?" Huang Yan leaned down and asked eagerly, not caring in the least that the tender white of her skin inside the bathrobe had already come into Yang Juehuan's view.

"Won, but I got found out." Yang Ce pointed at the chat log on the computer screen.

"Haha, never mind that. As long as you won." Huang Yan sat down on Yang Juehuan's lap with a grin. She had meant to type to Little Fox Fairy, but sitting on his lap put her up too high and made typing awkward, so she simply sent a voice-chat invitation through QQ.

Little Fox Fairy accepted the invitation quickly, and a girl's voice came through the computer speakers: "Lele, is that you back?"

"Mm, it's me," Huang Yan said. "I just got out of the shower. I was afraid my hair would dry and be hard to style, so I did it first."

"You cheated—you got someone to play for you," Little Fox Fairy said. "I don't care. That last round doesn't count. Let's start over."

"Sure, let's go then." Huang Yan adjusted her posture. "Still best of five?"

"Still, still..." Little Fox Spirit said. "By the way, Lele, I'm adding your husband on QQ—you're not jealous, are you?"

"What's there to be jealous of? He won't help you anyway," Huang Yan said, pressing the button to start the game.

The two were indeed evenly matched, and a single round dragged on for a long time. In the end, Huang Yan finally ground Little Fox Spirit down and celebrated by flailing about, squirming all over Yang Juehuan's body. "Haha, I won! Little Fox Spirit, concede!"

"It's only one round—what's there to be so happy about? I just made a mistake," Little Fox Spirit said, unconvinced.

Yang Ce did not care in the least who won or lost; it was Huang Yan wriggling around on top of him that stirred a physical urge in him.

Huang Yan, utterly oblivious, kept squirming against Yang Ce until she felt something prodding her backside rather uncomfortably. Only then did she realize, and with a flushed face she shot Yang Puqi a glare.

Because the voice chat was on, Huang Yan could not say a word. She hoped her glare would be enough to tell Yang Yongjin not to disturb her match with Little Fox Spirit.

Yang Shuoxuan had thought of exactly that, but the wicked amusement in his heart welled up beyond restraint. Yang Ce reached out and slowly eased Huang Yan's bathrobe aside. She had just showered and was wearing no underwear, so her lower half was entirely bare.

Yang Ce gently lifted Huang Yan's body up and then, with no effort at all, eased his rigid flesh into her. Huang Yan was so startled she nearly cried out "Ah!" She whipped her head around and glared hard at Yang Ce—but then it struck her that she was in the middle of a match with Little Fox Spirit, so she hastily turned back and began clattering away at the keyboard.

But that backward glance had cost her the advantage, letting Little Fox Spirit seize the initiative, and before long Huang Yan lost the round.

"See? I won this one—the wheel of fortune turns, doesn't it?" Little Fox Spirit said smugly.

Huang Yan was grinding her teeth in fury, wishing she could bite Yang Ce to death, but Little Fox Spirit had already hit ready to start the next round. With no time to curse Yang Ce, Huang Yan hurried back into the fight.

By then Yang Cenbin could not have cared less whether Huang Yan was playing Little Fox Spirit or not. He seized Huang Yan's body and began moving her up and down. How could Huang Yan not understand what Yang Ce was doing? Waves of tingling numbness swept through her, but she clamped her lips shut and fought on against Little Fox Spirit with difficulty.
